For the past three years, Ras King Bobo 1 has performed at numerous festivals as a solo artist.  In 2017 he was also a regular performer a local attraction, taught classes in schools and leisure centres and performed at a number of evening events including both private parties and corporate events.

His performances take on another dimension when he performs with other members of African Power Acrobatics circus.  He has up to ten UK based acrobats, drummers and dancers who he works with on a regular basis.  He has also performed with a brass band, a steel pan band, a burlesque dancer and a number of circus companies!

 

Ras King Bobo 1 is part of the dance crew 2Puff who were the Pan African and Ghanaian Malta Guinness Street Dance Champions 2008.  He then went on to feature in the Malta Guinness Word Up Campaign which was shown across Africa in 2009 /2010.

Bobo has performed in numerous countries including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and the UK.

In 2015, Ras King Bobo 1 won the CA Award for Best Dancer.

Whilst still in Ghana he released two albums, My Baby Girl and My Music.  His third album recorded in the UK will be released in 2017.

Bobo has also featured on many Ghanaian TV shows such as TV3 Music Music, TVAfrica Soundsplash,  GTV Breakfast show, Metro TV Morning Ride, Viasat 1 – The One Show and 4syte TV Show. His music has been featured numerous times on African TV channels.
